How about lunch on the boat today?
A sea gull says hello to us!
Your Dad is a cutie!!
How about another apple slice?
Or maybe just a big smile because we are together having fun..relaxing!
And being silly!!!!!!!
Your Dad loves time on the boat with his girls!

Sweet Thoughts
Dear Sophia,
I thought it was so nice of you to draw Aimee this card for her Graduation Party....
You did such a nice job and thought of it all on your own.
You are kind and have a big heart. Never change that!
Love,
Mom

Time well spent
Dear Sophia,
Last night we sat on the living room floor and sipped herbal tea and played this game in our jammies.
I loved every second of it. I love that you are not too old to do these things with me.
The best part was when we were done and you sat in my lap and I held and rocked you.
I love you dearly.

Funny Story from Nana Jan
Dear Sophia,
I know you love funny memories and stories...you are in bed but Nana just told me one that I never want to forget to tell you.....
When Nana Jan was little her mom, Nana Marcy would always go to the "dime store" and buy two pairs of underpants for Nana Jan to give her friends at birthday parties...as their PRESENT!!...Nana Marcy would say... "Everyone needs underpants".
Now that is funny. Nana Jan would be so embarrassed to give underwear as birthday party gifts!!
HA!!!
Love,
Mom

Dear Sophia
I just wanted to include some pictures I have taken on a few or your play dates with Gracie.
We were going to go the gardens in St Cloud be rain detoured us to the craft store. I think these vases turned out wonderful.
I love doing crafts with you and I am so grateful that you still like to do them with me!

Dear Sophia,
Summer is off to a great start. I went out and bought some fun decorations to celebrate your first week off of school at the dollar store and surprised you:
Breakfast is better with milk from a Hawaiian Tiki Shot Glass FOR SURE!
And I personally like to eat my breakfast with a pink flamingo!
Doesn't juice taste better from a pineapple cup?
Having Nana here this week is FUN. You guys spent so much time painting your Monet Marshmallows
Two of my FAVORITE people ever...how lucky I am...
I love you, Sophia. We are very very lucky.

Last Day of School
Dear Sophia,
Happy Last Day of First Grade!!
This is the email we received from Mrs Rerick today...
You have done so well at SACS this year. Your reading, math and social skills are amazing. You have a big heart, Sophia and always know that the most important thing is to be kind to others and look out for those who need our extra love and support.
Happy Last Day of First Grade!!
This is the email we received from Mrs Rerick today...
Dear First Grade Parents,
It's so hard to believe your first graders will be leaving this first grade classroom! Another milestone and accomplishment under their belts!
They will be coming home today with a Summer Folder. You will find some of their most precious work and practice sheets to keep their reading polished! Their report card will also be included in the folder.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to work and learn with your children. They are a bright group of learners with an abundance of love and enthusiasm. They are kind to each other and very supportive. It has been such a pleasure to watch them grow and learn. What a joy to see the wonder and awe with which they look at their days! Their hugs and smiles have brightened my days.
Thank you for all the support you have given to them with their school work this year and for all the support you have always shown me. You are wonderful parents and I truly appreciate you.
May God bless you and your families with a fabulous summer!
Shelly Rerick

Piano Recital
Dear Sophia,
Today you had your piano recital...you did beyond amazing. The recital was at Guardian Angels dining room so all the little old grey hairs were there to cheer you on! Tana also took the time to come and watch you play, that was so nice of her.
It is not easy to get up in front of all those people and play the piano at your age.
The songs you played were not easy either yet you executed them with grace and style!
Could your Dad and I be any more proud? At this moment, no.
Love,
Songs played were Ode to Joy and The Juggler.
